Terms of Sale and Return Policy
Return Authorization Required
All returns must be accompanied by a Return Authorization. We cannot process returns without this authorization.
Return Condition
Returned goods must be in new condition and in their original packaging. Please carefully inspect your merchandise upon receipt. We cannot accept returns for decorated, washed, or used garments under any circumstances. In the case of defective merchandise, please place tape over the flaw before returning, and we will be happy to issue a refund or exchange the item.
Refunds
You are entitled to a full refund for all unworn garments. However, please note that East London Printers (ELP) will not accept liability for damages or provide compensation beyond the order value.
Restocking Fee
Returns due to customer error will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. Additionally, all refused deliveries will incur a 15% restocking fee in addition to transportation charges.
Claims and Timeframe
Any claims for shortages, damages, or other issues must be made within 72 hours of receiving the merchandise. No returns will be accepted after 7 days from the date of delivery. It is the buyer’s responsibility to verify the accuracy of style, color, size, and quantity with the consignee before printing. East London Printers will not be responsible for discrepancies on orders received by parties other than the invoiced customer.
Last-Minute Supply & Print Policy (Rush Orders)
This policy applies to all garments, including caps.
Important – Sampling Strongly Recommended
If garment style, colour accuracy, branding finish, decoration method, or print/embroidery feel is important, a paid physical pre-production sample is strongly recommended.
If you choose to proceed without a physical sample due to time constraints, you accept the risk of reasonable variation and confirm the order will be non-returnable once approved for production.
1) Rush / Time-Sensitive Orders
Orders placed without sufficient time for physical sampling are treated as rush production orders. Production will commence promptly to meet the requested deadline.
Time-sensitive orders prioritise speed of manufacture and availability of stock over custom sourcing or specialist matching.
2) No Physical Sample – Approval & Final Sale
Where no physical pre-production prototype/ sample has been ordered and approved:
- Digital artwork proofs will be provided for approval.
- Where time permits, a production image may be supplied for general reference prior to bulk production.
- Approval of artwork proofs and/or production imagery constitutes full acceptance of:
- Design layout
- Sizing and scale
- Positioning
- Decoration method selected
- Expected print or embroidery type and feel
Once approval is given and production has commenced, the order is confirmed as final.
We shall not be liable for dissatisfaction relating to:
- Garment or cap style, structure or fit
- Fabric composition or feel
- Colour shade differences
- Decoration texture or finish (including DTF, DTG, vinyl, screen print or embroidery)
- Thread shade differences where nearest available stock thread has been used
- Minor positioning variations within normal production tolerances
All sales are final where no physical sample has been produced and approved in advance.
3) Decoration Method (Print & Embroidery)
Unless a specific decoration method is requested in writing prior to production, we will use the most suitable and time-efficient method available within the agreed timeframe.
Decoration methods differ in texture, finish and appearance. Specific requirements may require extended lead time and additional cost.
Embroidery & Thread Matching (Rush Orders)
- Nearest available off-the-shelf thread colours will be used.
- Exact Pantone thread matching cannot be guaranteed within urgent timeframes.
- Special thread ordering requires advance notice and additional lead time.
- Branding colours will be matched as closely as reasonably achievable using available stock materials.
4) Product & Colour Representation Notice
Product images, digital mock-ups and online catalogue colours are for illustrative purposes only.
Colour representation is only as accurate as the web design and digital display process allows. Variations may occur due to screen settings, device calibration, lighting conditions, photography, fabric texture/dye batches, and print/embroidery application methods.
CMYK and Pantone references are provided as guides only and do not guarantee an exact visual match on finished garments.
Where no physical sample has been approved, reasonable variation between digital representation and final product shall not be considered a defect.
By proceeding without a physical sample, you confirm you have reviewed and accept this Product Notice.
5) Manufacturing & Batch Variations
Garments (including caps) may vary slightly due to fabric batches, dye lots, supplier manufacturing tolerances, and construction differences. Such variations are acceptable industry standards and do not constitute grounds for return.
6) Cancellation & Amendments
Once artwork has been approved and production has commenced:
- The order cannot be cancelled.
- Amendments cannot be made.
- Refunds or returns will not be accepted unless the goods are materially defective.
7) How To Proceed With a Rush Order
If there is insufficient time for a physical sample, we will ask you to confirm in writing (email/WhatsApp):
“Approved – proceed without sample.”

Delivery Times
Rush Orders, Express Service, and Same Day Service
Our standard lead time of 5 to 7 working days does not incur any extra charges. However, we understand that sometimes you may need your order sooner. In such cases, we offer rush orders, express service, and same-day service as premium options.
Please note that the pricing for these premium services will vary based on the urgency of your request and our current workload. Rush orders may be subject to a surcharge ranging from 30% to 50%, depending on the circumstances.
We highly recommend placing your order as early as possible to ensure the best service and lead time. This will enable us to accommodate your needs effectively.
