Custom workwear London: Costs, Quality & Turnaround

Custom branded workwear is one of the most effective ways to build team identity, project professionalism, and increase brand visibility. Getting the print or embroidery method right makes a significant difference to quality, cost, and longevity.

At East London Printers, based in Leytonstone E11, we handle custom workwear for businesses of all sizes — from sole traders needing 5 branded polos to companies ordering 500 hi-vis jackets. Everything is done in-house: screen printing, DTF, and embroidery.

What are your options for branded workwear?

There are three main decoration methods we use at ELP, each suited to different garments, quantities, and applications.

Embroidery

Our Tajima TMBP-S1501 embroidery machine produces stitched logos with a premium, textured finish. Embroidery is ideal for polo shirts, fleeces, caps, and outerwear. It’s extremely durable, looks sharp on corporate wear, and withstands heavy industrial washing.

Screen printing

The industry standard for volume t-shirt and sweatshirt decoration. Best for orders of 50+ units where you want bold, vivid colour at the best cost per piece. Pantone colour matching available.

DTF (Direct to Film) printing

Our Roland TY-300 DTF system is ideal for full-colour logos, complex artwork, or small quantity orders. No minimum order, no setup cost — works on virtually any garment type.

How to choose the right method for your workwear

  • Polo shirts, fleeces, caps, jackets → Embroidery for a premium finish
  • T-shirts and sweatshirts at volume → Screen printing for best cost per unit
  • Complex logos, small batches, mixed garments → DTF for flexibility and full colour

Frequently asked questions about custom workwear

Do you supply the garments as well as decorate them?

Yes — we can source garments and print or embroider them, or work with garments you supply.

Can you match my exact brand colours?

Yes for screen printing (Pantone matching) and embroidery (thread colour matching). DTF printing produces CMYK colour — very accurate but not Pantone exact.

What’s the minimum order for workwear?

No minimum for DTF or embroidery. Screen printing is most cost-effective at 50+ units.

How long do workwear orders take?

Typically 5–10 working days depending on garment sourcing. Rush orders accommodated where possible — call us to discuss.

Can I get samples before committing to a full order?

Yes — sample prints and embroidery samples are available. Contact us to arrange.
